Help w staticy hair due to cold weather?

I live in New York, the cold! I have long hair, halfway between shoulder and elbow. Garnier I can use curl sculpting cream-gel in my hair and blow dry. But my hair is staticy, especially when I went, back and took my coat. I am looking for ideas to put in my hair aw static electricity to help, especially something I can get at Wal-Mart and Rite Aid, I have a lot of variety where I live.

John Frieda's Secret Weapon is a creamy finish. I use it after brushing and really seems to help stagnation. I bought at Wal-Mart for under $ 6.00.
