Good for model cars, airbrush painting, or other vehicles?
What are the best weapons for the model cars and other things? I'm leaning towards Iwata Airbrushes, Badger or Paasche. Also what types are appropriate (eg, external / internal mix, single / double action, gravity or feed below)? What are its advantages?
Since you are painting on a small scale and many details I suggest you stick to food gravity, double action airbrush. Currently the best weapons in the market are Richpen Iwata, grex, Harder & Steenbeck and Olympus. Now keep in mind that Olympus is an amazing airbrush, but did not Teflon packing should be used with water-based paints. Even if people still associate with Badger Airbrush … I really have not produced a large airbrush to today's standards … until a few months. There is a new Badger market is beginning to generate interest in the industry again. May want to check if you want to roll the dice and bet. As mentioned above, stick to the dual action due to air and paint flow control. All weapons now use their best internal mixing for one simple reason …. control. Do not even bother messing around with an airbrush exernal mixture. When shopping around you also take into account the size of the nozzle needle /. Since you are looking for more detail brush that you should not buy something greater than 0.3 mm.
